From the Webmaster's Desk - Question Not The Little Things in Life
How did you receive the silence that greeted us?
Did you ignore the pain of the leaves you stepped on?
Would you appreciate the warmth of the sun rays that penetrated through the branches?
When would you discover where the path ahead lead to?
Did you notice the wind chasing the ripples on the lake?
Would you feel sorry for the fallen flowers that once bloomed?
Have you left your warmth on the cold benches?
Did you thank the trees that provided shelter?
Did we miss too many little things in life?
The gentleness of the wind, the fresh scent of the morning...
Have we taken too many things for granted?
The singing of the birds, the rustling of the leaves...
Greet a smile by smiling back, show appreciation with nods of approval.
I did not forget to look back as I take my leave,
I saw the trees waving goodbye in the wind...

I told my wife it's good to have figures in the bank...
She said that she's ok as long as she has figure... sigh...

Worrying about your exams results?
Don't worry, they always say that there's light at the end of the tunnel...
Just make sure it's not a oncoming train...

From the Webmaster's Desk - Reader's Feedback
Feedback from Mr. Jake Tan
Hello, I'm a new reader of your blog.I'm taking the Olevels this year and find your website to be really useful. I also like the various tidbits of your life, they're highly humorous.
If your blog posts were to be tagged and categorized it would be much easier to find what I want. I suggest switching to another blog host, Wordpress(http://wordpress.com/) which provides such features.
An example would be to divide your posts in 3 categories, Animation, Human Geography and Physical Geography and further tag them with the topics. This would be easier than digger through the archives(unless you have a search engine?)
My Response
Dear Jake,
First, I would like to thank you for your support... I'm glad that you have found the notes useful and enjoyed the Fun@Work column. Feel free to share this with your friends.
Next, I would like to respond to your feedback to improve the blog. I'll definitely look into your suggestion. I'm used to the layout and functions of blogspot. Let me explore your suggestion and see if I will be able to transfer the information.
Thank you for your permission to publish our correspondence.
I look forward to your continued support.

From the Webmaster's Desk - It's Friday?
I woke up in high spirits today and explaimed, " TIGF!"
(Thank God It's Friday!)
My wife looked at me and said, "SHIT"
Surprised by her reaction, I questioned why.
She explained, "Sorry Honey It's Thurday."

From the Webmaster's Desk - Head of the Family
Very often, we hear our friends say:
"I make the big decisions in the house and my wife will take care of the other matters... However, there are no big decisions to be made in my home."
(His wife has the final say...)
Lately, I heard of another way of saying this:
"I am the General of the House. I give my wife the rank Major- a few ranks under me. I make decisions for all "General" matters while she makes the "Major" decisions."
(What's the difference? He gives his wife the final say...)

From the Webmaster's Desk - Pain is part of life
Pain is part of life
From the moment I wake up
Till I sleep in the night
It’s every step I take
And every stair I climb
Pain is part of life
When it rains, I’m wet
When I trip, I fall
Bearing in mind not how slow I walk
Most importantly, what and who I live for
Pain is part of life
Forgotten how fast I was
No longer how high I take off
Be careful not to miss a step
No longer jump from that tall
Pain is part of life
Pity, sadness, sympathy no more
Not the loss of my legs I will crawl
Beautiful moments in life I adore
My creative hands I applaud
(Author walk in pain everyday of his life...)

From the Webmaster's Desk - A Child's Mind
My boy asked me who will be playing this week in the English Premier League.
I told him that there will be a Merseyside Derby- Liverpool will be playing Everton. I continued to explain that Anfield and Goodison Park are separated by a river.
He looked at me puzzled and asked,
"what will happen if the ball drop into the river?"

From the Webmaster's Desk - Happy Women's Day
If you don't let a beautiful lady have her way, things will turn ugly soon.
There is no such thing as a simple life after marriage, women make things complicated...
Women marry men, expecting men to change after marriage. Men don't change...
Men marry women, expecting them not to change after marriage. Women change...
Happy Women's Day!!!

Before you say "I do", make sure she's not selectively listening...
"… …, would you take this man, … …, to be your lawful husband, and promise to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish him, for as long as you shall live."

From the Webmaster's Desk - Monthly Ladies
I went for a massage as my neck and shoulder ached terribily...
I told my wife to book the session and requested specially for a lady called June.
During the session, my wife send me a sms- "How's your date with June?"
This was my reply...
"June was good. July is more beautiful. August wouldn't let me go . September is talking to me now. Luckily, October and November are not around. See you in December."

Ministry of Education
Teach Less, Learn More...
Remember why I teach,
Reflect on what I teach,
Reconsider how I can teach better...
My strategy in times of inflation
Spend Less, Think More...
Remember how much I earn,
Reflect on what I buy,
Reconsider how I can spend better...
